Angkor Wat officials say they will take legal action against the worst offenders amid a growing problem of YouTubers abusing monkeys for views.

Wild monkeys egged on by YouTubers have been rampaging at Cambodia's famed Angkor Wat complex, attacking tourists, wrecking temple stonework and damaging information boards, officials said Wednesday.

YouTube influencers are being investigated by officials in Cambodia who say these individuals are abusing monkeys at Angkor UNESCO World Heritage Site in order to draw viewers to their shows.
