Rex, a 3-year-old wallaby, escaped from a Gloucester County animal farm overnight Monday. A day-long search ensued Tuesday after the animal was spotted in the parking lot of a Williamstown Walmart.
The wallaby was at Walmart. Rex, a marsupial that went missing from a Williamstown petting zoo, was returned home in good condition after a suspenseful search ended happily Dec. 30, its owner said.
